We are seeking a VP of Engineering to lead the organization responsible for building and scaling a professional trading platform experience.

This role will own the frontend architecture and user experience for high-performance trading interfaces, working closely with backend teams responsible for market data, APIs, and order management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical strategy for a professional trading platform UI
• Lead multiple engineering teams, including managing managers
• Build and scale real-time trading interfaces (charts, order books, trade feeds, order workflows)
• Deliver low-latency, high-performance user experiences powered by live data streams
• Partner closely with backend teams working on market data infrastructure and trading systems
• Establish best practices across frontend architecture, performance, and reliability
• Drive development of scalable UI platforms, component libraries, and design systems
• Mentor and grow senior engineering leaders and teams
• Champion adoption of AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements

• 13+ years of software engineering experience with deep frontend expertise
• Proven experience leading engineering organizations and managing managers
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies (e.g. React, TypeScript)
• Experience building real-time applications using streaming data / WebSockets
• Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and distributed architectures
• Experience building or working with complex trading interfaces (order books, charts, workflows)
• Background in fintech, trading platforms, or digital assets strongly preferred
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools

• Experience with trading infrastructure or exchange systems
• Understanding of market structure and advanced order types
• Experience scaling platforms across multiple regions or regulatory environments
