Role Overview:

We are seeking a driven Ecosystem Lead to expand Kernel's influence by identifying and onboarding top web3 protocols, including DeFi, Infrastructure, and others. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering ecosystem growth through strategic partnerships, business development, and quantitative protocol metrics. They will also help shape Kernel’s and contribute to its success through growth hacking and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and onboard new early web3 DeFi protocols to build on our infra to foster ecosystem growth.
• Build and nurture strategic partnerships with L2s, ensuring seamless integration and scalability for DeFi projects on our platform.
• Oversee and jointly implement Kernel's Grants Program, driving growth and influence through research-backed business development.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute growth initiatives for deployed projects.
• Utilize a quantitative approach to track protocol milestones such as Total Value Locked (TVL), Liquidity, Volume, and Exchange Listings.
• Establish Kernel's position as an infra leader through lending/borrowing protocols, aggregators, bridges, staking, and liquidity provision.
• Attend and speak at industry conferences and networking events to enhance visibility and incentivize development.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in the DeFi domain, with a year or two preferably with ecosystem development space.
• A strong network within the ecosystem with a track record of attracting and forging strategic partnerships.
• Experience with growth hacking strategies and data-driven decision-making.
• Knowledge of DeFi infrastructure, including lending, staking, and liquidity provision protocols.
