Metrics Recruitment is seeking a lead full-stack engineer to lead development efforts for an award-winning Health and Wellness app focused on human development, spiritual growth, and helping veterans recover from trauma. You will play a critical role in the drive to use an evidence-based scientific approach to facilitate members in helping them gain increasingly necessary clarity around what they truly hope to achieve in life, working through internal impediments, and helping them to build the skills necessary to accomplish micro-goals that further enhance their own definition of “success.” You will own the role and focus on building compelling user-interfaces for our mobile products and monitoring and maintaining back-end infrastructure. Responsibilities:

•Design, build, and implement a flagship product through the full development cycle; you will be responsible for coaching a growing team through the

complete development process. With the assistance of our advisory board, you will architect, plan, and write elegant, well-tested code in a modern technology stack, and build libraries and frameworks that will enable us to build quickly and efficiently while delivering value to both our members and customers.

•Work closely with the product team; make architecture and design decisions, participate in stand-up discussions, code reviews, and retro actives, while helping contribute to and drive the engineering culture that focuses on simple, intuitive, high-impact products and features.

•Be an engineering generalist; from developing and integrating APIs, servers, and databases, to final UI implementation. You will also have the opportunity and ability to take full responsibility for end-to-end ownership across the entire development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of engineering management experience

• 6+ years of full-stack mobile application development experience, preferably building at scale using a cross-platform tool like React Native or Flutter

• 8 years of experience programming experience in total.

• Highly-skilled front-end development experience

• Strong back-end development skills and experience
