Metrics Recruitment is seeking a Senior Account Executive for a for a company that assists web3 startups with token management, equity, and valuations! The Account Executive will be tasked with generating new leads and closing sales opportunities for core offerings, including token vesting, tax withholding, airdrop solutions, and token launch advisory services. They will play a key role in executing and enhancing our outbound prospecting and sales strategies, from crafting outreach messages to closing deals, while also contributing insights to help shape the product roadmap.


What You’ll Do

  • Build a robust sales pipeline through multiple methods, including cold calling, email outreach, attending in-person events, and more.
  • Manage and drive the entire sales process, from initial lead generation to closing deals for protocols at both pre- and post-token launch stages.
  • Identify key decision-makers within target accounts and collaborate with the product team to design solutions that accommodate future scalability.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to refine outbound strategies for both existing and new products and services.
  • Support customer success by ensuring smooth handoffs to the Implementation and Customer Success teams post-sale.
  • Partner with Marketing to enhance collateral, event strategies, and account-based marketing tactics to increase engagement.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure seamless handoffs and continuously improve the onboarding and account management process.
  • Attend industry conferences to network and engage with key contacts within the ideal customer profile.

About You

  • Experienced Account Executive skilled in prospecting, nurturing, and closing deals.
  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales closing, with ideally 1+ year in the crypto industry.
  • Proven track record in a previous full-cycle B2B SaaS sales role.
  • Strong knowledge of and passion for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.
  • In-depth understanding of areas such as tax withholdings, token launches, or token distribution processes.
  • History of surpassing sales quotas.
  • Self-motivated, with a competitive spirit and entrepreneurial mindset (experience in founding a company or side projects is a plus).
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working collaboratively across various teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Expertise in areas like tax withholdings, token launches, or token distribution.
  • Experience selling within similar categories (HR Tech, Equities, or Crypto).
  • Background in selling to markets like token-based projects, finance, HR, or legal.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Previous experience working in startup environments.
  • Interest in exploring AI tools, automations, and workflow optimization.
