Job Summary:

The Sales Manager for our High-Performance Sealants Division is responsible for the execution of strategic business development planning to create and grow market share and realize profitable business positions for SABA IAS within North America. Is responsible for all aspects of business development and customer retention to sustain a long-term profitable position for SABA IAS within the defined market.


Essential Functions:

  • Executes all business development and customer retention to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Develops new business prospects and performs follow-up procedures to include: positioning the value-added elements of the company’s products, providing price quotations, performing product demonstrations, and working the sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Collaborates with the company’s senior sales management team to develop selling strategies and new market development opportunities to facilitate corporate growth.
  • Collaborates with the company’s marketing department to position the SABA brand, create sales leads, and manage campaigns and events.
  • Maintains a sales forecast within the company’s CRM system for strategic planning and forecasting.
  • Collects and reports competitive information, new market opportunities, and new product applications.
  • Travel across the assigned sales region for extended periods
  • Use the company’s CRM system (presently MS Dynamics CE) to record all customer-related activity and time schedules.
  • Train customers on the proper and optimal application of the company’s products.

Work Experience & Education


Required Experience: 3 to 5 years in sales of sealants (or related solutions), 3 years of direct Business Development Management experience in sealants.


Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree


Required Field of Study: Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline.


Work environment: Telecommuting office setting, with extensive travel to client locations that are factory-based.
