Responsibilities/Duties:
Business solutions:
· Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and challenges
· Develop customized solutions to address clients' financial and operational goals
· Provide strategic advice on business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and other growth opportunities
· Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information
Financial Management:
· Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
· Manage cash flow, investments, and financial reporting
· Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
· Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Tax Compliance:
· Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
· Prepare, review, and file tax returns, including but not limited to corporate, individual, and partnership returns
· Provide guidance on tax planning and optimization strategies for clients
Leadership:
· Participate in and grow to lead team meetings while actively engaging in decision-making processes
· Coach junior team members in an ongoing basis to ensure the long-term growth and success of individuals and the company
· Work closely alongside the company Principal to fully understand the company’s vision, direction, and culture
· Engage in professional development regularly while staying abreast of industry trends and regulations

· Must possess excellent communication skills and exchange information with others accurately

· Exceptional organization in managing time with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail, and meet strict deadlines while working independently or with a team
· Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex problems while supporting the growth of a team
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or Enrolled Agent (EA), required
· Bachelor's degree in related field, required
· Public accounting experience, required
· Private accounting experience, preferred
· Financial management, tax planning, compliance, TPT, and payroll tax experience, required
· Experience with leading and motivating teams, required
· Demonstrated track record of driving business growth, required
· Experience in succession planning and leadership development, preferred
· Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online, MS Office Suite, required
· Proficient in Lacerte, preferred
Supervisory responsibilities: None to start, will be expanded over time.
