Corporate Accountant

$70k - $78k base pay + bonus.

Excellent benefits + 1 day/week work from home

JOB PURPOSE:  

Provide management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts.

Prepare financial statements for internal and external distribution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:          

·        Preparation of general ledger entries, reconcile accounts and intercompany activity

·        Ensuring the integrity of data within the Accounting system

·        Support various aspects of the financial cycle, including, but not limited to, working with investors and assisting in various banking transactions

·        Preparation of GAAP financial statements and related schedules by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system

·        Communicate with external investors as necessary

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:            

·        Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Required; prefer CPA or CPA In Progress

·        Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required

·        Working knowledge of GAAP

·        Ability to work with multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and apply strong problem solving techniques

·        Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills required; Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus

·        Highly Prefer One year of Big 4 audit experience or one to two years in large local CPA firm
