Job Summary:
Our client, a growing industrial company in Avondale, is seeking an accomplished Human Resources Manager to grow their management team. The Human Resources Manager will lead and manage the HR function for a dynamic organization with over 300 employees. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for employee development and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business objectives
• Collaborate with senior management to identify HR needs and develop solutions that drive
Talent Acquisition and Management:
• Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and
• Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning and career
Employee Relations:
• Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting open communication, resolving conflicts, and
• Implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to enhance morale and retention.
Performance Management:
• Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback mechanisms.
• Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues and employee development.
Training and Development:
• Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
Compliance and Policy Management:
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Oversee the administration of employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
• Conduct market research and analysis to ensure the organization’s compensation strategy aligns with industry standards.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
• Analyze HR metrics and data to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR trends, employee engagement, and other key metrics.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
