About the Company

A well-established international manufacturing company located in Belle Chasse, LA is preparing to implement a new ERP system. We are seeking an IT Professional who can support this initiative, troubleshoot systems, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations during and after the implementation.

Position Overview

The IT / ERP Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a new ERP platform, with a strong preference for experience in IQMS/DelmiaWorks. This role is ideal for someone with solid general IT skills, strong problem-solving ability, and hands-on ERP experience in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, and rollout of the ERP system (IQMS/DelmiaWorks preferred).
• Troubleshoot system issues, diagnose outages, and resolve technical problems promptly.
• Assist end users with ERP navigation, training, and system best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external ERP vendors/consultants.
• Participate in data migration, testing, and system validation efforts.
• Document workflows, technical procedures, and user support guides.
• Provide general IT support across hardware, software, and systems as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong general IT skills, including troubleshooting systems, networks, and hardware/software issues.
• Experience with IQMS, DelmiaWorks, or similar ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve system outages quickly.
• Strong communication skills and user-support mindset.

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Prior involvement in ERP implementations or major system upgrades.
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, or technical documentation.
