Exciting Opportunity at a large, employee owned HVAC Construction and Services Company in Metairie, Louisiana!

Join our team as an Estimator in our dynamic mechanical service division. We are looking for an experienced individual to support our commercial HVAC and plumbing service operations by providing accurate estimates for repair, retrofit, deficiency, and change-out work. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare quotes for HVAC and plumbing repairs, retrofits, and service deficiencies.

- Collaborate with team members to define scopes and timelines for pricing.

- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements.

- Source accurate material pricing through vendor portals and supply house calls.

- Utilize internal labor estimating standards to assess job durations and feasibility.

- Submit polished quotes to clients using standardized Excel templates.

- Assist with larger plan & spec bids as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and/or plumbing.

- Ability to scope, estimate, and price mechanical service work.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office Suite.

- Comfortable with vendor portals and supply house interactions.

- Valid driver’s license for job site visits in the Greater New Orleans area.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with ComputerEase or QuoteSoft.

- Familiarity with service management platforms like ServiceTrade.

- Background in customer-facing roles or internal estimating teams.
