The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will oversee all aspects of the company’s warehouse operations, procurement logistics, material staging, fleet scheduling, and delivery coordination. This role focuses on developing systems to enhance efficiency, minimize waste, and provide accurate and timely support to field operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Warehouse Management: Oversee daily operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Logistics & Fleet Coordination: Manage deliveries to job sites, schedule drivers and vehicles, and track maintenance of company vehicles and equipment.
- Inventory & Procurement Support: Collaborate with purchasing to forecast material needs, oversee staging of project-specific materials, and implement inventory control processes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse staff and logistics personnel, providing training and fostering a culture of accountability and safety.
Qualifications required for this position include:
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in construction or electrical contracting.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of safety standards.
Preferred qualifications include experience in electrical contracting, familiarity with fleet management software, and forklift certification.
