Product Development Manager

The Role: The Product Development Manager will oversee the complete lifecycle of our new product development, from concept and design to production and launch. This role works closely with the Purchasing Manager, Quality Control Manager, Inventory Manager, and Chief Operating Office (COO). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can understand strategic market opportunities, vendor capabilities, and work across departments to deliver products that meet market and customer needs. This position reports to the COO.
Job Responsibilities:
Project Leadership
- Manage product development projects from ideation to launch.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
Strategic Planning
- Conduct market research, competition analysis, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities.
- Develop new product strategies that align with overall business growth goals.
- Identify and mitigate potential product launch risks.
Process Management
- Establish and streamline marketing workflows, campaign execution processes, and reporting structures for efficiency.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives across teams, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Manage vendor relationships, marketing budgets, and procurement processes to support operational needs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product development or project management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and launching new products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong project management and process improvement skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to optimize company growth performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, industry conferences, or vendor visits.
