This is an incredible opportunity to work hand in hand with the owner of the business and other key leaders of the team while taking ownership for all aspects of accounting, budgeting, and job costing and assist with construction project management. This is an excellent opportunity for a financial leader who would love the opportunity to truly help build things. Our client has experienced consistent organic growth over many years, and they own multiple vertically integrated businesses which improve margins and have the company well positioned for prosperity and steady growth for many years into the future. The founder of this company plans to work at least 20 more years and is searching for someone who would love to help build something special over the next 2 decades.

• Take ownership of all accounting functions – you will be given the autonomy to build and improve processes and leverage their newly purchased Foundation Software to its full capacity (or move to another tool if you see fit)
• Assist with union payroll, depreciation schedules, reconcile accounts, and workclosely with the firm’s CPA to execute financial statements and monthly budget to actual analysis
• Lead all aspects of job cost analysis with the owner, finding ways to make each job more profitable and successful
• Implement strategic analysis and budgeting activities including cash flow analysis, annual/quarterly budgeting, and monthly financials review
• Be the owner’s right-hand employee and assist with legal entity structuring, risk management, bonding, insurance and numerous strategic and operational projects to help position the business for long term success
