Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of technical accounting research, digging into complex transactions and interpreting accounting guidance to determine the appropriate treatment.
• Play a key role in financial reporting and financial statement review across a sophisticated, multi-entity organization.
• Serve as a key resource for evolving regulatory requirements, helping coordinate reporting submissions, interpret new guidance, and communicate with external regulatory bodies.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to fulfill audit requests, research questions, and ensure financial information is accurate and well-supported.
• Roll up your sleeves and help modernize workpapers, standardize reporting, strengthen internal controls, and identify opportunities to make an already strong accounting function even better.
• Dig into complex investment and general ledger activity, investigate unusual variances, and help connect the dots between multiple systems and financial reports.
