Assistant Controller – Feel Inspired Working for this Growing Company full of Humble and Hungry Professionals

Elevate has been engaged by a growing locally owned business to hire their Assistant Controller due to internal promotion within the organization. This individual will play a key role in the day-to-day accounting function, financial reporting, and partner closely with the leadership team to continually scale operations to adjust to the continued rapid growth of the company. You will be joining a young, hungry team that is well-established in their market and is continuing to find ways to carve out different revenue streams to help bolster their business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes – You will be the trusted person to complete the day-to-day account work, including AP/AR, and payroll
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies – The Controller/CFO would love someone to take ownership of building out true accounting policies and document SOP’s
• Partner with leadership to analyze financial results and take point with budgeting and forecasting
• Lead automation and process improvement efforts for the organization as a whole – Leadership would love to hire someone who embraces technology and utilizes different softwares to save time and become as efficient as possible
