Financial Reporting Lead - Step Out of Public Accounting into Balance and Flexibility - $75-$95k

We’re partnering with a Fortune 500 company in Omaha to add a Financial Reporting Lead to their Accounting & Finance team. This role offers a true 40-hour workweek, hybrid flexibility, and the kind of culture where you can finally exhale.
Here, you’ll get to apply the skills you built in audit or tax without the busy season grind. You’ll guide a small team through financial reporting, month-end close, and disclosures, while also supporting interns and future talent. Coordinate both internal and external audits, while also taking ownership of tax-related items such as provision work, research, and monitoring new regulations at the federal, state, and local levels. Beyond core responsibilities, this role gives you the chance to stretch into meaningful projects. You'll tackle accounting research for non-routine transactions, process improvements, technology modernization and workpaper redesign. This role is built for a lifelong learner who is energized by keeping up with evolving accounting standards.
