Temporary Controller – Construction Industry – Lincoln, NE

Elevate is partnering with a highly respected and financially stable organization in the Lincoln area to hire a Temporary Controller to partner with leadership during a key transition period. This is an excellent opportunity for an Experienced Controller who enjoys stepping into well-run companies and adding value through best practices, process refinement, and leadership when it comes to year end Audit and Tax Preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide an extra set of eyes to help support the year-end audit process, serving as the primary point of contact with external auditors
• Provide an experienced, independent perspective on job costing and Work in Progress to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Review current financial processes and controls and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Help establish clear, reliable financial reporting to support the company’s 2026 planning and reporting needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to ownership and senior leadership during your tenure
