Plant Controller – Strategic Business Partner to Operations – Columbus, NE - $135 - $155K + Bonus


Elevate is partnering with a well-established manufacturing operation in the Columbus area to identify a Plant Controller who wants to play a visible, impactful role at the plant level. This position will work closely with a highly experienced and respected Plant Manager and will serve as a true financial thought partner to operations, not a back-office scorekeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for a controller who enjoys being on the floor, influencing decisions, and helping drive performance.


Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary financial business partner to plant leadership, supporting operational and strategic decision-making
  • Work side-by-side with the Plant Manager, providing insight, challenge, and financial perspective to improve results
  • Lead cost-out initiatives, margin improvement efforts, and continuous improvement projects across the plant
  • Analyze operational performance, identify trends, and proactively surface opportunities and risks
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with a forward-looking, value-added mindset
  • Partner with operations to improve processes, controls, and financial transparency
