BELMONT Search is a construction executive search firm serving heavy civil contractors across New England. We are engaged on current and upcoming Project Manager searches with builders delivering bridge and roadway programs across the region.

THE OPPORTUNITY

These positions carry delivery responsibility for bridge and structures work: public contracts executed under a state or authority's specifications, where the structure governs the schedule and the documentation governs the payment.

THE ROLE

You will run bridge and roadway projects from award through closeout, owning the budget, the schedule, the subcontractors and the owner relationship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver bridge and roadway projects from award through final acceptance
• Manage substructure through deck, including staging and traffic control
• Own budget, schedule, change orders and monthly quantities
• Administer subcontracts and the claims-aware documentation public work requires
• Maintain the relationship with the awarding authority's project and inspection staff
• Direct the superintendents running your crews

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Five or more years as project manager of record on bridge or heavy civil work
• Public work delivered under DOT or authority specifications
• Command of structures sequencing, staging and maintenance of traffic
• Documentation that survives a claim

COMPENSATION

Base salary of $130,000 to $165,000, plus bonus.
