About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cloud Operations Manager to lead our AWS infrastructure operations. In this role, you will oversee the design, deployment, and ongoing management of our cloud environment to ensure high availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness. You will lead a team of cloud engineers and collaborate across departments to support infrastructure automation, security, compliance, and modernization efforts.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day AWS operations including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other core services
• Lead a team of cloud engineers, providing mentorship, support, and technical direction
• Implement and optimize monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery protocols
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, internal policies)
• Drive automation and DevOps practices using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Optimize cloud spend through cost analysis, usage tracking, and right-sizing strategies
• Support cloud migrations of enterprise applications and business-critical systems
• Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to align cloud strategy with business goals

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years leading cloud operations teams, with a focus on AWS
• 8+ years in AWS engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps roles
• Deep expertise in AWS services, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• AWS certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator)
• Experience with application migrations and CI/CD integration is a plus
