Founding Engineer – AI-Powered B2B Sales Automation

About the Role
We’re seeking a highly motivated Founding Engineer to join an early-stage AI automation platform that’s transforming how B2B SaaS companies generate and qualify leads. As employee #4, you’ll be instrumental in building core systems, shaping the product, and influencing the technical and cultural direction of the company.

What You’ll Be Building
Our platform leverages AI to identify buying signals for B2B sales teams—pinpointing customers most likely to purchase. We collect and integrate vast data sources, including:
- Website activity and email engagement metrics
- Public records such as SEC filings, press releases, and hiring trends
- Proprietary customer data and third-party integrations
Using advanced AI models, we qualify and score these leads, then feed the best prospects directly into sales workflows, enabling teams to act faster and more effectively.
Our customer base includes 15+ B2B SaaS firms (spanning fintech, real estate, and other industries) and we’re growing revenue at 25% month-over-month.
Tech Stack & Responsibilities

Core Technologies: Python, SQL, AWS
- Design and implement production-grade data ingestion pipelines and AI-driven lead scoring models
- Work closely with the founders to build and optimize core infrastructure and product features
- Contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced, and execution-focused team culture
- Participate in product ideation, architecture decisions, and roadmap planning
- Ship quickly and iterate often based on customer feedback
What We’re Looking For
- 3–10+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally at high-growth startups or strong tech companies
- Proven track record of writing production-quality Python code (flexible for exceptional engineers with other backgrounds)
- Experience working with SQL and cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a lean startup environment—self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable wearing many hats
- A strong bias toward action and results, with a willingness to put in the extra effort needed to build something from the ground up
- Interest in working closely with founders and having a significant say in the technical direction of the company
