Accounting Manage (Plant Operations)
Location: Greater Oklahoma City, OK (onsite in Lawton, OK – relocation required, no full relocation package)
Join one of America’s leading manufacturers as an onsite Accounting Manager and take the lead in overseeing all financial operations at a critical plant facility. This role is a key part of the leadership team, responsible for driving financial integrity, operational efficiency, and team development. You'll work onsite in Lawton, OK and be part of a high-performing network of finance and manufacturing leaders supporting long-term business success.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the plant’s accounting function, including month-end close, reporting, inventory management, and internal controls
- Ensure SOX compliance and strong financial controls aligned with company policy and U.S. GAAP
- Manage and develop a local accounting team, while partnering with corporate HQ and plant operations
- Provide financial insights, cost analysis, and key metrics to support operational decision-making
- Oversee standard cost setting processes and material cost reporting
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting or financial analysis experience, ideally in a plant or manufacturing environment
- Proven people leadership and team development skills
- Experience with internal controls, SOX compliance, and inventory processes
- Comfortable working onsite in Lawton, OK, with willingness to relocate without full relocation assistance
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred
