Our client is a fast-growing global brand specializing in terpene-based and botanical formulations, and consumer-focused products with a commitment to quality, sustainability and innovation.

They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager (m/f/d) to join their team in Berlin to be at the heart of the European Hub supply chain — overseeing third-party manufacturing, building and managing local inventory, and ensuring seamless procurement and delivery of our products across the continent.

You’ll work closely with their sub-contractors and logistics partners in Europe, while collaborating with teams in Israel and the U.S. to coordinate terpene product imports. In parallel, you’ll support our European sales team with agile supply operations, all while driving continuous improvement, sourcing new suppliers, and strengthening communication across the entire value chain. You will be reporting to VP Operations 

This role offers the opportunity to travel abroad occasionally to strengthen relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and key partners.

MUST have 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with previous experience in the legal medical cannabis/hemp industries or another regulated industry.

MUST be able to speak both German and English fluently/at a C1+ level. Additional languages are an advantage (Hebrew preferred).

This position is open to those who can legally work in the EU, and are based in the Berlin area.

Responsibilities

• Procurement:
• Expertise in sourcing high-quality raw materials, packaging, and manufacturing equipment at competitive prices. 
• Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance the supply chain.
• Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. 

• Logistics:
• Coordinate international and domestic shipments. 
• Handle customs and regulatory compliance for smooth import/export operations. 
• Stay up to date with regulations for our products within Europe. 

• Manufacturing and Inventory Management:
• Liaise with our sub-contractor in Europe to manage production schedules and quality control. 
• Facilitate full communication between manufacturers and distributors to ensure smooth operations. 
• Ensure effective order fulfillment and resolve bottlenecks in production timelines. 
• Oversee inventory of Raw Materials and Finished Goods to support production needs

• Supply Chain Management:
• Oversee raw materials and inventory to ensure production continuity.
• Identify and address inefficiencies in the supply chain while implementing improvements. 
• Manage the entire order lifecycle, ensuring quality standards and timely delivery. 

• Collaboration:
• Partner with product development, sales, and marketing teams to align operations with company goals. 
• Provide operational insights and updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in operations, supply chain management, or logistics (preferably in Food, Alcohol, Tobacco, or Cannabis manufacturing). 
• Strong expertise in procurement, supplier sourcing, order fulfillment, and contract negotiation. 
• Familiarity with international shipping, customs processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to manage relationships across teams and cultures.
• Experience in ERP systems and project management tools. 
• Willing to travel abroad frequently. 
• Experience working with excised goods (e.g., tobacco, alcohol, or other regulated consumer products) and bonded warehouses, including familiarity with EU compliance, customs documentation, and controlled storage and distribution procedures - preferred. 
• Fluency in English and German. Additional languages are an advantage (Hebrew preferred).

Zur Verstärkung des Teams in Berlin wird eine erfahrener Operations Manager (m/w/d) gesucht, der/die im Zentrum der europäischen Lieferkette agiert – verantwortlich für die Steuerung der Drittanbieter-Produktion, den Aufbau und die Verwaltung lokaler Lagerbestände sowie die reibungslose Beschaffung und Auslieferung unserer Produkte in ganz Europa.

Sie arbeiten eng mit unseren Subunternehmern und Logistikpartnern in Europa zusammen und koordinieren gleichzeitig mit den Teams in Israel und den USA die Einfuhr von Terpenprodukten. Parallel dazu unterstützen Sie das europäische Vertriebsteam mit flexiblen Lieferprozessen, treiben kontinuierliche Verbesserungen voran, erschließen neue Lieferanten und stärken die Kommunikation entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette. Sie berichten direkt an den VP Operations.

Diese Rolle bietet die Möglichkeit zu gelegentlichen Auslandsreisen, um Beziehungen zu Lieferanten, Herstellern und strategischen Partnern zu pflegen.

Voraussetzungen:

• 3–5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in einer ähnlichen Position, idealerweise mit Vorerfahrung in der legalen medizinischen Cannabis-/Hanfbranche oder einer anderen regulierten Industrie.
• Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mindestens C1-Niveau). Weitere Sprachen sind von Vorteil (Hebräisch bevorzugt).
• Recht zur legalen Beschäftigung in der EU und Wohnsitz im Raum Berlin.

Aufgaben

Beschaffung (Procurement):

• Erfahrung in der Beschaffung hochwertiger Rohstoffe, Verpackungen und Produktionsausrüstung zu wettbewerbsfähigen Preisen.
• Identifikation und Integration neuer Lieferanten zur Optimierung der Lieferkette.
• Verwaltung von Lieferantenbeziehungen, Vertragsverhandlungen und Bestellwesen zur Sicherstellung termingerechter Lieferungen.

Logistik:

• Koordination von internationalen und nationalen Transporten.
• Verantwortung für Zollabwicklung und regulatorische Anforderungen im Import/Export.
• Laufende Aktualisierung zu europäischen Vorschriften für unsere Produkte.

Produktion & Lagerbestandsmanagement:

• Zusammenarbeit mit Subunternehmern in Europa zur Steuerung von Produktionsplänen und Qualitätskontrolle.
• Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Informationsflusses zwischen Produzenten und Distributoren.
• Sicherstellung einer effektiven Auftragsabwicklung und Lösung von Engpässen in der Produktionskette.
• Verwaltung der Bestände von Rohstoffen und Fertigprodukten entsprechend den Produktionsanforderungen.

Supply Chain Management:

• Überwachung von Rohstoffen und Lagerbeständen zur Sicherstellung eines reibungslosen Produktionsablaufs.
• Identifikation und Beseitigung von Ineffizienzen in der Lieferkette sowie Umsetzung von Optimierungsmaßnahmen.
• Verwaltung des gesamten Auftragszyklus unter Einhaltung von Qualitätsstandards und Lieferzeiten.

Zusammenarbeit (Collaboration):

• Enge Abstimmung mit den Teams für Produktentwicklung, Vertrieb und Marketing zur Ausrichtung der operativen Prozesse an den Unternehmenszielen.
• Bereitstellung operativer Einblicke und Berichte für das Management.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 Jahre Erfahrung im Bereich Operations, Supply Chain Management oder Logistik (vorzugsweise in der Lebensmittel-, Alkohol-, Tabak- oder Cannabisproduktion).
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Beschaffung, Lieferantensuche, Auftragsabwicklung und Vertragsverhandlungen.
