Job Summary:


The Client Service Associate will be a key member of the operations team and be responsible for maintenance of portfolio accounting, reporting and client recordkeeping systems. The position requires strong attention to detail, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks being completed on time.


Job Duties:


Preparation and submission of client paperwork, including onboarding of new clients, establishing account features and ongoing account maintenance.

  • Money movement and transfers processing
  • Portfolio accounting and account reconciliation
  • Preparing and distributing client reports
  • Providing prompt and thorough responses to client inquiries, performing additional research as needed
  • Serve as a trusted resource to the firm’s clients and advisors



Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of experience in investment operations is preferred, with a solid understanding of investments required.
  • Strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to following up and adhering to procedural workflows.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment while effectively managing and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar and punctuation, with a commitment to prompt and professional client interactions.
  • Advanced technical aptitude, with the ability to lead and support others in utilizing various software platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential. Prior experience with portfolio accounting, reporting and CRM systems required. Tamarac Reporting & Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience is a plus.
  • Quick learner with the capability to master new software systems efficiently.
