Ultimate Ventures is a Dallas-based events and destination management company with a proven track record of providing the ultimate service to meetings, conventions, clients, and their guests by organizing airport transportation, themed events, team building, dinners, special events, and tours. We’re growing at 15-40% per year and are on track to double our business in the next four years. Because of that, we are seeking a top-notch General Manager to join our team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.


 As the first and currently only ADMEI accredited firm in North Texas, we’re one of the most successful corporate event and destination management companies in the Dallas area. What you’ll be doing –

At the General Manager level, you’ll work with the leadership team to continue to refine our operational effectiveness and efficiency, from initial proposal generation to billing accuracy. You’ll oversee a great team driving exceptional customer satisfaction. You’ll also be responsible for helping to drive our annual growth by at least 15% year-over-year and expanding and diversifying our customer base. You’ll support the leadership team to improve our proposal conversion rate and increase our net profit.

·      Ultimately responsible for finance, including P&L, cash flow, budgeting, AR/AP, etc.

·      Oversee day-to-day operations of the organization, from sales and marketing, through program operations and accounting.

·      Develop/streamline Trello processes and workflows with team.

·      Oversee HR duties, including hiring, training, onboarding, etc.

·      Provide leadership and development to current leadership team.

·      Manage large special projects as needed.

·      $120-140k, depending on experience

What you’ll need to succeed -

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of executive leadership or general management experience in a corporate services business, ideally in event planning/production, audio-visual, catering, convention/tradeshow management or travel. Also looking for experience with P&L Management and overall corporate finance experience. You could be ready to move from a corporate role – or on the other side of the table with a services firm.
