Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations to ensure production, quality, safety, and delivery goals are achieved.
• Manage production scheduling, workforce planning, and operational performance.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and operations teams to improve manufacturing processes and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and monitor plant budgets, productivity metrics, and operational KPIs.
• Recruit, coach, and develop supervisors and production employees while promoting a positive, high-performance culture.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, 5S, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Resolve production, equipment, and quality issues while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
• Present operational updates and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a fabrication, metal manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, quality systems, and plant operations.
• Experience leading teams, managing budgets, and driving operational performance.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work cross-functionally with engineering and operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office; CAD experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing facility and requires regular time on the production floor. Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial environment, following all safety requirements, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance.
