We are currently seeking a motivated Manager, Account Development, to lead the customer development team to drive growth and success by actively developing existing customers with high growth potential.

 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Identify and target existing customers with high growth potential and develop strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their product needs and align our product offering to meet those requirements effectively.
  • Utilize our CRM system to maintain accurate records, tract customer interactions and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with customers to ensure mutually beneficial terms and agreements.
  • Work closely with our value- added services teams to identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and provide additional value to customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Hires entry-level customer service employees.
  • Trains new employees in company’s customer service policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of assigned staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Ensures quality and timely delivery of products to customers via Service Technicians
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

 

Specifications and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field, OR
  • 3–5 years of experience in account management, customer development, inside sales, or sales support, OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring customer service or sales support staff
  • Experience conducting performance feedback or evaluations
  • Experience managing team workloads and priorities


Computer/System Skills

  • Word, Excel, Outlook/email, and Power Point
  • Microsoft Dynamics to track growth opportunities
  • Bossard Quality System (BQS)
  • FACTS main system used to place orders
  • QLR tool used to get various reports
  • Power Bi and other custom reports

 

Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel as needed
