APR Consulting Co is a strategic production consultancy at the forefront of the advertising industry and is seeking a Director of Business Solutions to join our team. We have 180+ team members worldwide and we empower global Fortune 500 companies to maximize their marketing ROI.


We’re hiring a senior new business expert to support our growth. In this role, you’ll facilitate the entire global sales process, from sales qualified lead to approved scope. You’ll identify and pursue new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and nurture warm contacts, all with the goal of securing new business for APR. You’ll work closely with clients to define their business cases and demonstrate how APR can add significant value to their marketing operations.


At a high level, here’s what you’ll be doing:


  • Lead Generation and Follow-up: Proactively follow up on leads and warm contacts, ensuring consistent engagement to convert them into business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with CMIOs and other stakeholders within clients' marketing organizations, building strong relationships and understanding their unique needs.
  • Business Case Development: Collaborate with clients to define their business cases for integrating APR Consulting into their operations, highlighting the enterprise value we can deliver.
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry conferences and networking events to identify potential clients and stay updated on industry trends and opportunities.
  • Proposal Development: Develop compelling packaging and pricing strategies using value-based and outcome-based approaches to craft winning proposals.
  • Client Experience: Ensure clients feel supported and valued throughout the business development process, fostering long-term partnerships.


And here’s what we’re looking for:


  • Minimum of 7-10 years in business development / sales in the marketing or consulting industries; including 3+ years in the Advertising industry, ideally with production experience
  • In-depth understanding of marketing operations and the challenges faced by marketing organizations.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including ability to network at industry events and build relationships with senior-level executives.
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, HubSpot, and Salesforce; including experience using and developing reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed to attend conferences and meet with clients.
