SENIOR COMMERCIAL PROPERTY MANAGER 

 

The Senior Commercial Property Manager (CPM) oversees the daily operations and financial performance of a 1.5 million sq. ft. portfolio of over 40 properties, including retail, industrial, and residential spaces in Delaware. This role requires collaboration across Accounting, Construction, Facilities, and Real Estate teams, along with external vendors. The CPM ensures professional tenant interactions, property maintenance, and owner interests are upheld. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Property Management: Maximize property value, enforce leases, handle insurance, and maintain positive tenant and vendor relationships. 
  • Financial Oversight: Approve invoices, manage receivables, handle legal filings, and conduct financial analysis and reporting. Prepare annual budgets and plan for capital expenditures. 
  • Facilities Coordination: Manage service contracts, oversee monthly inspections, and coordinate work orders with internal and external teams. 

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in commercial property management is preferred. 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to financial details, and a proactive work ethic. 
  • Preferred BA/BS in accounting, finance, real estate, or business. 
  • Proficiency in Yardi Voyager, Elevate, Microsoft Office preferred. 
  • Valid Driver’s License. 

 

Desired Skills and Experience:  

 

  • 5 years' experience with a Commercial Real Estate company with similar CPM responsibilities is preferred.  
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and customer service oriented. 
  • Must have a demonstrated history of performance with internal team members.  
  • A strong understanding of property financial performance with attention to detail.  
  • A high quality and efficient work ethic is expected on a consistent basis.  
  • General knowledge of accounting principles.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Maintain confidentiality of pertinent company data.  
  • Superior time management skills and the ability to work independently.
