We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our Denver team!
As a hands-on BIM Coordinator, you will lead a team of BIM Specialists to support our clients. This position requires technical expertise to ensure all documents and models are delivered according to client requirements. This important role on the Swanson Rink team will work with a team of engineers, clients and subconsultants on complex projects. This position requires leadership, ownership, and the ability to troubleshoot complex REVIT issues and work with the team to solve problems.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develops project BIM Execution Plan
- Leads BIM Coordination meetings on assigned projects
- Prepares models and/or content for all MEP disciplines for BIM Coordination Meetings, and ensures construction document accuracy
- Proactively resolves issues in a professional and constructive manner while operating in the best interest of Swanson Rink.
- Acts as a resource and guides the efforts of less experienced BIM staff, and helps solve difficult or complex model issues that arise.
- Overseeing the following:
- Project set up in Revit/AutoCAD for the design team adhering to client or Swanson Rink standards
- Development of BIM modeling content for projects such as families and schedules
- Interpretation of architectural and structural drawings to identify conditions affecting the layout of mechanical, plumbing, or electrical system routes and space constraints using clash detection platforms

What You Need To Be Successful:
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred. In lieu of a four-year degree, this position requires an Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting or training with courses in Revit and at least six years of equivalent experience in the A/E/C industry
- The ability to lead BIM Coordination meetings with architects, clients, subconsultants and other disciplines
- Must be an excellent communicator, team player, and have excellent organization and coordination skills.
- Time management – Ability to prioritize individual responsibilities and tasks as well as understand the company’s responsibilities and priorities in order to address both
- High level of proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD, certification in Revit or Autodesk is preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing design (attained through a combination of education and/or work-experience), including in-depth knowledge of drafting/modeling standards for multiple disciplines strongly desired
- Requires a high level of proficiency with Navisworks, BIM 360 or other project-specific collaboration software for coordination purposes
- Proficiency with Bluebeam
Compensation:
