Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Tewksbury, MA

Salary Range: $60,000-$68,000


We are seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee and lead the daily operations of our restaurant. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of our team, managing financial activities, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.


Primary Responsibilities:


·      Provide exceptional guest service and ensure high standards are met in all areas of the restaurant.

·      Manage and lead the team, adhering to company policies and operational guidelines.

·      Recruit and interview potential candidates based on the company's needs.

·      Maintain an up-to-date restaurant staffing plan and prepare schedules for all shifts.

·      Foster professional relationships with team members and guests.

·      Ensure consistency in food and beverage preparation, following the restaurant's recipes and standards.

·      Provide guidance, coaching, and, when necessary, discipline to subordinate employees.

·      Enforce health and safety policies and maintain a clean and sanitary environment.

·      Handle and resolve customer complaints or escalate to the General Manager when required.

·      Comply with all relevant federal, state, county, and municipal regulations regarding health, safety, and labor.

·      Oversee the quality-of-service uniforms and appearance standards.

·      Assist in organizing and coordinating private events and act as a liaison with Sales and Marketing.

·      Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu, food preparation, and beverage programs, including wine and food pairings.

·      Schedule Front of House staff and ensure efficient restaurant and beverage operations.

·      Act as Manager on Duty as needed.

·      Perform other duties as assigned by superiors.

  Job Qualifications:


·      High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor’s Degree preferred.

·      3+ years of experience in the food & beverage and/or hospitality industry.

·      Proficiency in MS Office Applications.

·      Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.

·      Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.


Job Certifications:


Required certifications: ServSafe Manager & Allergen, Tips, and Crowd Control.


Work Environment:

·      This role operates in a fast-paced food service/kitchen environment, involving the use of cleaning detergents, solutions, and tools. Employees will be exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, general public/patrons, and cleaning chemicals.


Physical Demands:

·      Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours).

·      Capability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.

·      Stamina to handle a fast-paced environment and long shifts.
