Position Overview:
We are seeking a Timekeeper Administrator to join our Payroll Team. This role focuses exclusively on managing timecard submissions and reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness in our Paycom timekeeping system. The Timekeeper Administrator will serve as the main point of contact (POC) for employee timekeeping inquiries, ensuring compliance with deadlines and company policies.
This role does not involve processing payroll or handling financial data but requires strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review submitted timecards in Paycom for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Identify and return timecards with errors to employees for correction, providing clear instructions on necessary adjustments.
- Monitor timecard submissions to ensure all employees complete and approve their timecards on time.
- Follow up with employees and supervisors regarding incomplete or unapproved timecards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to timekeeping, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of timecard reviews and communications for audit and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and team to ensure smooth timekeeping processes.
- Stay informed about company pay schedules, earning codes, and timekeeping policies to assist employees effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Prior experience in data entry, timekeeping, or a related administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Experience using a timekeeping system (e.g., Paycom, Kronos, ADP) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data review.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of pay schedules and earning codes is helpful but can be trained on the job.
