We are currently seeking a motivated Account Manager to drive profitable growth by managing existing customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and serving as a strategic partner to customers at all levels of their organization.


This role is responsible for executing strategic sales plans, building executive-level relationships, and leading account success across assigned territories.

 

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans to manage profitable sales growth as assigned by the Market Manager.
  • Manage the sales strategy & progress in Bossard’s CRM system.
  • Work to achieve the territory and customer corporate revenue and profitability goals.
  • Identify, build, & manage our customer relationships at all levels from production, Engineering and Executive.
  • Able to win (close) at the management level.
  • Manage profitability of each customer including margins, AR, inventory.
  • Working with management and peers developing strategic market segments.
  • Responsible for the development of targeted potential new business utilizing Bossard’s three levels of core competencies.
  • Team leader for driving the success of assigned accounts.
  • Quotations, Quality, Engineering, and Customer Relationships.
  • Work with internal organization (Customer Service, Procurement) to ensure accurate pipeline forecasting.
  • PowerPoint presentations to customers and internal teams.
  • Summarize and analyze data via Microsoft Excel and other tools.
  • Negotiate customer specific service programs and contracts.
  • Continually learn new products and technologies.
  • Keep abreast of competition and market conditions.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

Specifications and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2–5 years of OEM field sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience


Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, percentages, and proportions
  • Ability to interpret graphs and numerical data


Computer/System Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Outlook
  • Microsoft Dynamics


Travel Requirements

  • Must be able to travel as needed
