Salary: $34-38/hr. (Nonexempt)

Hours: 4x10 (5:00am- 3:30pm) with potential overtime

Discovering your exciting role

As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will lead and optimize production activities within your designated area. You will drive team performance, implement Lean manufacturing principles, and actively contribute to production efficiency. Your focus will be on achieving production targets while maintaining high-quality standards through effective performance management.


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Leadership: Supervise a team of leads and employees to meet production goals.
  • Human Resources: Develop and maintain a productive workforce through recruitment, training, and motivation.
  • Performance Management: Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and take disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Workplace Environment: Maintain a fair, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Track attendance, approve time off, review timecards, and answer and compose emails related to administrative matters.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and enforce production and quality standards, ensure safety compliance, and continuously improve productivity.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive people leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, including team development and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, continuous flow, and continuous quality improvement (CQI).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective performance feedback and coaching.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to interpret production schedules and work orders.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to others and to engage employees in decision-making
  • Experience in a high-volume production environment required.
