We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our team!  


The Plumbing Designer project designs project systems and components in conjunction with an engineer according to the requirements of the project’s scope of work and organization’s design standards.

  • Draft the discipline design of the project while following the organization’s standards.
  • Work with the drafting team to complete setups, updates, and redlines, ensuring accuracy and consistency across deliverables.
  • Prepare calculations and code evaluations for review by the Team Lead.
  • Package documents for submission to the client for deliverables.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide design input in coordination with other consultants with the support of the team lead and/or Sr. Designer.
  •  Collaborate with engineers and Sr. Designers to resolve design discrepancies.
  • Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and contribute to improving drafting and modeling efficiency.
  • Respond to submittals, RFI’s, and shop drawings with the support of the Team Lead and/or Sr. Designer.
  • Attend site visits and complete reports with the support of the team lead.

 

What You Need To Be Successful:  

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Revit 
  • Basic understanding of plumbing systems in building design. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines. 
  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, and drafting teams. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Previous experience working successfully in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in plumbing design
