Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Hybrid from any of the following office locations| Tampa, FL | Middleton, WI | Madison, WI | Denver, CO 



Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized consulting firm with over 125 years of history, we’re seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help design and deliver projects that matter. From advanced piping and air systems to energy-efficient solutions, you’ll have the opportunity to shape infrastructure that supports communities, airports, and military facilities nationwide.


In this role, you’ll collaborate with a talented team, leverage cutting-edge 3D BIM tools, and see your work come to life through hands-on site visits. Because many of our projects are located at airports and military bases, candidates must be able to meet the requirements for base and secure-site access.


The successful candidate must have the following: 

  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering
  • At least four years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
  • A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

  • Leading mechanical design of building projects
  • Designing supply, return, and exhaust systems
  • Performing load calculations and/or energy modeling
  • Revit
  • Designing plumbing systems
