Key Account Manager - Off-Premise Chains – Beverage Distribution Company


Location: Southern Nevada, Las Vegas


Employment Type: Full-Time


Compensation: $85K - 120K based on qualifications - plus bonus


We are a rapidly growing beverage distribution company in Nevada. We are seeking a highly organized, experienced key account sales executive with a proven track record in the alcohol beverage industry to call on and manage our off-premise national and regional chain customers. This is an elevated leadership role, requiring the highest standards of industry knowledge, including in-depth knowledge of the portfolio and its competitive set. Extensive category management experience, IRI and Nielsen data knowledge, and strong chain relationships are required.


Responsibilities Include:

·      Establish consistency in call frequency to present brand, programming, and pricing opportunities to our national and regional chain customers

·      Utilize all sales analytical tools to develop a reporting cadence of performance to our national chain buyers

·      Work with our suppliers’ national account teams to collaborate around meetings and strategy to grow distribution, programming, and brand presence

·      Report to the SVP of Sales

·      Support accounts receivable collection efforts when called upon

·      Develop sales presentations utilizing specific guidelines provided by the SVP of Sales

·      Assist with correspondence, document preparation, and special projects

·      Provide the Trade department and the SVP of Sales with consistent brand forecasts to support immediate and future product forecast

·      Support a positive and professional employment culture

 

Qualifications:

·      Prior experience in the alcohol beverage industry with a dedicated focus on wine and spirits sales concentrated within off-premise national account channels (grocery, club, box, c-store, drug channels)

·      Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office, order entry and reporting software, and scheduling tools (including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
