Luxury Gin US Expansion Director

Location: open - close proximity to airport

Salary: $140,000- $160,000

Type: Remote, Full-time

The US Expansion Director position is responsible for opening new distribution in key states as well as securing national accounts. This includes engaging key customers, building and growing our distribution footprint, and increasing overall volume and accts sold in all channels of business. 


Current states are NY, FL, MA, Vegas, and CA with plans to expand into other markets. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

**Create partnerships within the distribution network – opening new states and finding key distributor partners in the current states**

• Create sales strategy including goal setting and go-to-market plans

• The Director will work closely with distributor network monthly to execute distribution and brand building initiatives, manage and maintain the relationship, and manage pricing, programming, inventory levels, POs, billbacks, POS, and forecasting. 

• Communicate, enforce, and monitor National Account programs both on and off premise

• Schedule and conduct key meetings with high level distributor personnel, key retail buyers and wider team.

• Create and maintain KPIs for all partners

• Make presentations to distributor network on a weekly/monthly basis to educate on strategy, direction and brand standards

• Develop “key influencer” relationships in the trade as well at wholesale

• Organize and execute distributor meetings including GSMs and QBRs

• Utilize market data to identify opportunities within each channel

• Budget and Expense Management

• Additional responsibilities may be added to help achieve the desired goals as needed


Performance Measures:

• Sales and revenue targets

• Volume and distribution goals 

• Market management: Effectively develop and maintain positive relationships with distributors and the trade to drive volume and distribution performance


Personal Skills & Qualities:

• Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to work autonomously and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Strong knowledge of all facets of the spirits industry

• Create and nurture distributor upper management relationships to open new markets throughout the US

• Good judgment and professional maturity

• Results oriented: Strong work ethic and drive for success

• Excellent communication style, both written and verbal

• Sales ability: Effectiveness in inspiring customers to purchase our products and programs

• Teamwork: Ability to work and communicate effectively with colleagues and with our distributors

• High level of integrity, self-confidence and the ability to build relationships

• Excellent problem-solving skills


Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in sales in the alcohol beverage industry

• Candidate must be able to travel minimum of 30%

 Passion for and knowledge of Luxury Spirits
