Our luxury gin client is looking for a New York-based Business Manager to lead the next phase of growth in one of the brand’s most important markets.

New York is already established. We have built strong distribution and secured placements in many of the right hotels, bars, restaurants, private members’ clubs, and premium retailers. The next phase is about opening more of the right doors while creating liquid-to-lips velocity in the high-image accounts where we are already present.

This is not a traditional spirits sales role. We need someone who is commercially sharp, culturally connected, and personally engaging—someone who can build trust quickly, represent the brand with taste, and turn relationships into measurable business.

The right candidate understands that distribution alone is not success. The real work is creating demand inside the account: staff advocacy, menu presence, trade excitement, repeat orders, and sustained sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Open new high-quality accounts across New York, with selective focus on Miami.
  • Develop existing prestige accounts to drive liquid-to-lips velocity and repeat orders.
  • Build advocacy with bartenders, buyers, hotel teams, owners and distributor partners.
  • Secure menu placements, signature serves, staff trainings, tastings and account activations.
  • Identify opportunities across fine spirits, hospitality, fashion, culture, nightlife and luxury retail.
  • Deliver compelling commercial presentations and execute disciplined follow-up.
  • Track sales, depletions, account performance, menu visibility and activation results.
  • Work closely with distributor teams to drive focus, execution and market momentum.
  • Represent the brand during key events, Fashion Week, dinners, tastings and cultural moments.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with charisma, warmth, and a genuine appreciation for what this brand is building, paired with strong commercial discipline, polished presentation skills, and a mature business approach.

This person must be able to create authentic human connections without losing sight of business objectives. They should be comfortable operating in late-night environments, fashion-forward settings, and high-touch hospitality accounts while remaining reliable, organized, and commercially effective.

The ideal candidate is equally capable of building relationships and driving results—someone who can represent the brand with credibility, inspire advocacy, and convert opportunities into sustainable growth.

Ideal Experience

·       4+ years of experience in premium or luxury spirits, ideally within the New York market.

·       Strong on- and off-premise relationships, particularly within luxury hotels, fine dining, and influential hospitality groups.

·       Proven success growing accounts beyond the initial listing and driving sustainable sales velocity.

·       Strong commercial acumen and disciplined sales execution.

·       Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

·       Confidence leading trainings, tastings, dinners, and trade-facing events.

·       Cultural fluency across hospitality, fashion, fine spirits, and luxury lifestyle sectors.

·       Professional maturity, reliability, and strong follow-through.

·       Availability during key brand moments, including events, Fashion Week, and evening activations.

·       Existing Miami relationships or market experience are a plus.

Success Looks Like

·       Increased sales velocity within existing high-image accounts.

·       More menu placements, signature serves, and mini-bar placements.

·       Stronger staff advocacy and trade engagement.

·       Higher rates of repeat orders and account reorders.

·       New placements in the right, prestigious accounts.

·       Greater distributor focus, alignment, and execution.

·       Clear planning, reporting, and disciplined follow-up.

·       A market that feels energized, focused, and commercially productive.

The brand has already opened many of the right doors. Now we need someone who can go deeper, create genuine demand, move the liquid, and build the market with taste, discipline, and energy.
