West Area Manager
Location: Ideally reside in Denver, Phoenix or Las Vegas covering Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington, Oregon
Salary: 120k - 140K + bonus, car allowance, benefits including 401k

Reports to: Vice President, West
Main Responsibilities:
- Distributor Management – Be responsible for achieving results through the distributor (plan attainment) by working directly with distributor management and sales manager for on and off premise. Additionally managing pricing, programming, inventory
- Key Account Development - Own the primary relationship with the top accounts in the region spending a minimum of three days a week in the field calling on these accounts, developing relationships, and effectively making placements, expanding base of sales, ensuring proper shelf and cold box placements, staff trainings, selling wine list placements and wine by the glass listings.
- Produce/Brand knowledge - Wine brand immersion and advanced wine knowledge, not only of the brands and regions under your responsibility, but also of your competitive set
Requirements
- Have a minimum of five years of experience in sales and distributor management
- Produce/Brand knowledge -experience with commercial and luxury wines
- Desirable wine credentials include CMS, SWE, WSET certifications or equivalent

Must have experience managing commercial and fine wines in muliple states with multiple distributors

Must have a Proven track record with existing relationships with key on and off-premise accounts and the ability to over index sales in the entire Area.

Must have the ability to participate and contribute to all group meetings, town halls and wine country sales trips.

Must have valid drivers license and be able to lift a 12 bottle case of 750ml wine
- BA or equivalent degree from accredited university or college preferred
