Northern Nevada Director of Sales – Beverage Distribution Company


Location: Northern Nevada, Sparks/Reno

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: 90-110K base

Bonus: Up to 25% bonus based on KPIs, + supplier incentives + T&E and gas card

 

We are a rapidly growing beverage distribution company in Nevada. We are seeking a highly organized, driven sales executive with a proven track record in the alcohol beverage industry to support and supervise our team of approximately 10 employees. This is a key sales managerial role, to directly support and oversee the local sales team, the on- and off-premise customer base and interact with our supplier partners.


The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, commercial environment. Has extensive sales experience and sales management history. Local market relationships within the on- and off-premise beverage industry are a plus.


Responsibilities Include:

·       Reports and supports the SVP of Sales

·       Oversee daily supervision of sales team

·       Utilize office systems, policies, and procedures

·       Manage customer relationships, sales team members, and supplier interactions

·       Coordinate sales presentations and supplier work withs

·       Serve as the primary sales lead for Northern Nevada

·       Assist with employee on-boarding and off-boarding

·       Maintain personnel records and employee documentation

·       Assist with correspondence, document preparation, and special projects

·       Act as a liaison between trade development and sales

·       Works with Operations and SVP of Sales to establish bi-weekly and monthly brand forecasts and warehouse transfers

·       Support a positive and professional employment culture

 

Qualifications:

·       5+ years of DSD sales experience in on- and off-premise channels

·       5+ years of experience in sales management; preferably alcohol beverage sales

·       Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office, order entry and reporting software, and scheduling tools

·       Ability to work full-time, on-site and in the Northern Nevada trade

·       High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability

·       Self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills
