Field Brand Development Manager, MA/RI
Location: Boston area
Salary Expectation: $90k - $110k
Bonus Structure: 20% Bonus if performance metrics are achieved.
OVERVIEW
The Field Brand Development Manager will represent and promote a portfolio of premium spirits, driving awareness, education, and sales growth across key markets. This role blends relationship-building, on-premise and off-premise activation, staff training, event execution, and strategic brand storytelling. The ideal candidate is a charismatic communicator with strong industry knowledge and a passion for premium craft spirits.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand Representation
• Serve as the leading face and voice of the spirits portfolio within the market
• Communicate each brand’s history, production methods, flavor profiles, and unique value
• Uphold brand standards at all times in consumer-facing and trade-facing environments
Sales Support & Trade Relationships
• Partner with distributor teams to support sales objectives and brand priorities
• Build strong relationships with key accounts, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and retailers
• Conduct menu placements, product features, staff education, and promotional initiatives
• Identify new account opportunities and support sell-in with compelling brand presentations
Education & Training
• Deliver engaging staff trainings and product knowledge sessions for trade partners
• Provide tasting experiences, cocktail demonstrations, and pairing suggestions
• Support industry workshops, seminars, and brand certification programs
Events & Activations
• Lead on-premise activations, samplings, and experiential events
• Represent the brands at festivals, trade shows, and consumer events
• Ensure event setup, brand materials, and execution meet quality standards
Marketing & Content
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media content and promotional materials
• Capture photos, videos, and recaps from events for internal and consumer-facing use
• Provide market insights for promotional campaigns and brand messaging
Reporting & Market Insights
• Track activities, KPIs, account wins, and consumer feedback
• Provide weekly reports on market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities
• Recommend strategies to strengthen brand presence and improve performance
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in spirits, wine, hospitality, or beverage sales
• Strong understanding of spirits categories, cocktail culture, and industry trends
• Comfortable speaking publicly and presenting to groups of all sizes
• Established network within the on-premise and retail beverage community preferred
• Ability to manage schedules, events, and deadlines independently
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
• Passionate, energetic, and authentically enthusiastic about premium spirits
