Location: Georgia (statewide role, based in Atlanta) and Tennessee (specifically Nashville and surrounding influential areas)

Reports To: CEO and co-founder

Team: Working closely with our sales, marketing, and operations teams

Job Type: Full-time, field-based

Our client is a rapidly growing tequila company focused on building a portfolio of authentic, additive-free agave brands produced in partnership with traditional Mexican distilleries. Their portfolio is rooted in craftsmanship, quality, and respect for the communities behind every bottle. Beyond creating exceptional products, the company is deeply committed to giving back through philanthropic initiatives that support clean water access, children, and agave-growing communities.

With strong momentum across key markets, they are looking for passionate, entrepreneurial individuals who want to help build brands the right way through relationships, authenticity, and a commitment to excellence.

The Role

We are looking for a Market Manager based in Atlanta to own our business across Georgia and Nashville. This is a build role for someone who knows the market, has strong relationships across on-premise and off-premise, and wants to plant a flag for these brands in two of the most exciting markets in the South. You will be the face of the portfolio in the region, working alongside our distributor partners to drive distribution, programming, and brand visibility across top accounts. Georgia is a launch market for us, so day one looks like opening doors, building the account base, and laying the foundation. Nashville is already in motion, so you will be growing what we have started and turning early wins into long-term partnerships. From buyer meetings and staff trainings to in-store activations, on-premise menu placements, and trade events, you will run your market like an owner and bring the brands to life everywhere people are drinking great tequila.

What You'll Do

•       Own your market: Build, manage, and grow our brand’s presence in high-end, reputable on and off-premise accounts.

•       Build relationships: Develop deep, lasting relationships with planners, beverage directors, GMs, buyers, store owners, etc.

•       Partner with our distributor team: Work alongside our partners in GA and TN to align on priorities, ride-alongs, account targeting, and programming. You are not managing the distributor day to day, but you are the brand quarterback in the market.

•       Educate and inspire: Lead trainings, tastings, and buyer meetings for off and on-premise staff, so they can pour and pitch our brands with confidence when you are not in the room.

•       Create experiences worth talking about: Plan and execute on-site activations and events, including tastings, agave education moments, seasonal programming, and signature cocktail features. You set the tone in the room, and you make guests fall in love with what’s in the glass.

•       Listen, learn, and report back: Gather market intel, competitive activity, pricing trends, and buyer feedback. Track store visits, programming executed, displays placed, staff trainings, and new points of distribution so we can see what is working and double down.

Who You Are

•       You have experience working with a premium tequila or spirits brand, ideally in the Georgia market and/or a dual market.

•       You know your market. You can name the most influential restaurants, best liquor stores, venues people are getting married at, the caterers everyone calls first, and the hotels that throw the best parties. Or you’re the kind of person who can learn that fast.

•       You are genuinely passionate about agave spirits and curious about what makes great tequila great.

•       You are entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by building something from the ground up.

•       You are organized and self-directed. Nobody is going to micromanage your calendar; you own your week.

•       You are comfortable using technology to track your work (CRM, depletion data, basic Excel, shared docs).

•       You want to join a tight-knit family where you'll have ownership, visibility, and real influence on how we grow.

•       You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel across Georgia and Tennessee, often in the evenings and weekends.

•       You are 21+ and can legally work with and around alcohol in Georgia and Tennessee.

What We Offer

•       Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus

•       Health and dental insurance

•       Unlimited PTO

•       Gas allowance

•       Phone and internet allowance
