Title of Position: Hotel General Manager


The General Manager is responsible for upholding and elevating service standards across all hotel operations. They are responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the entire establishment, team members, and facilities. Additionally, they need to control food, beverage, and labor costs while leading management team members in safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles. The General Manager is responsible for selecting, scheduling, coaching, developing, mentoring, managing, and leading their team effectively to ensure the success of the establishment. Success in this position requires care and skill in all aspects of leadership, from providing guidance and training to team members at all levels to creating a positive work environment that fosters exceptional guest experiences. To thrive in this role, a deep understanding of the restaurant industry is essential, including best practices for food and beverage service, cost control measures, and safety and sanitation regulations. A proven track record of effective leadership, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve outstanding results, is also necessary. Overall, the General Manager's commitment to excellence, coupled with strong leadership skills and passion for hospitality, will be critical to the success of the establishment.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of five years’ of relevant experience of a comparable property is necessary for the General Manager, a bachelor’s degree is preferred

· The General Manager should have a passion for developing and mentoring people

· The General Manager must have a proven track record in the hotel industry, demonstrating achievement of outstanding profit and guest service-related goals

· The General Manager should have open availability

· The General Manager must work flexible, including weekends and holidays.
