Position Summary:


The Regional Restaurant Manager will oversee the operations of multiple restaurant locations headquartered in Aberdeen, South Dakota, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and alignment with the company’s brand standards. This role will collaborate closely with the COO and senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and foster a positive workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities


Operational Oversight

  • Manage daily operations across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular property visits to evaluate operations, provide support, and ensure compliance.

Financial Management

  • Monitor budgets, P&L statements, and cost control measures to achieve financial targets.
  • Review monthly financial, focusing on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and budget adherence.
  • Set yearly budgets for each location, and present them to upper management for approval.

Staff Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and develop restaurant management teams.
  • Conduct annual evaluations and wage reviews for General Managers.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to location managers, fostering high-performing teams.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure consistent food quality, service standards, and cleanliness across all locations.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations.

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for growth and improvement.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for operational enhancements.

Administrative Duties

  • Oversee payroll management, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Track and report on sales, discounts, voids, and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain centralized documentation for store files, equipment records, and vendor contracts.

Vendor & Equipment Management

  • Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance with terms.
  • Track equipment purchases, repairs, and maintenance for accurate budgeting.

Micros POS System Oversight

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Micros POS system issues.
  • Develop and maintain Micros system manuals for location managers.

Additional Responsibilities


Corporate Collaboration

  • Work closely with the corporate manager to align goals and priorities.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

Repairs & Maintenance

  • Analyze and address major repair or maintenance needs in collaboration with the corporate team.
  • Coordinate with vendors and secure management approval for significant repairs.

On-Site Engagement

  • Spend time at each restaurant to observe operations, identify challenges, and provide hands-on support.
  • Attend weekly manager meetings to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Workplace Culture

  • Promote a positive, professional, and supportive workplace environment.
  • Act as a resource for day-to-day problem-solving and team development.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in multi-unit restaurant management.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgets, P&L statements, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to travel regularly to restaurant locations.
