We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our client’s team in Townsville.

This role is suited to someone who can confidently manage site safety, drive compliance, engage with subcontractors and site teams, and help maintain a strong safety culture across commercial construction projects.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Conducting site inspections and safety audits
• Managing WHS compliance across active projects
• Leading toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Assisting with SWMS, incident reporting, and investigations
• Monitoring subcontractor safety performance
• Ensuring projects are operating in line with company and legislative requirements
• Supporting Site Managers and project teams with safety processes
• Promoting a proactive and positive safety culture onsite



What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an HSE Advisor, Safety Advisor, or WHS Coordinator
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction environments
• Solid understanding of WHS legislation and site compliance
• Ability to engage effectively with subcontractors and site teams
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Organised, proactive, and confident working independently
• Relevant WHS qualifications and tickets highly regarded
