We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental performance across a pipeline of mid-rise residential construction projects within a large staged development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible on site, working closely with site teams and subcontractors, and driving a strong safety culture through practical engagement rather than paperwork alone.

About the Role

You will oversee HSE systems and site safety across multiple projects, supporting Site Managers and project teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient builds.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing and maintaining HSE management systems across sites
• Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Leading toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training
• Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and site procedures
• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
• Supporting teams to proactively manage hazards

About You

You will ideally have:

• Proven HSE experience within construction (residential or commercial preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices
• A practical, approachable leadership style
• Ability to influence site teams and subcontractors
• Strong reporting and documentation skills
