We’re partnering with our client, a reputable and well-established builder-developer, to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of a major $100M, 18-storey residential development, and four levels of basement parking. This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a high-profile project from early planning through to completion.

The Opportunity

As Project Manager, you’ll oversee the entire lifecycle of this flagship development. From design coordination to construction delivery, you’ll ensure the project meets the highest standards of safety, quality, budget control, and program performance. You will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, subcontractors, and a dedicated site team—driving excellence at every stage.

You will also play a key leadership role in mentoring and developing site personnel, fostering a strong performance culture and ensuring the project progresses smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate design and construction teams through all project phases—from DA to practical completion.
  • Deliver the project to agreed budget, program, quality, and safety benchmarks.
  • Establish robust project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication frameworks.
  • Oversee procurement strategies, contract administration, and resource planning.
  • Manage project risks, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Motivate, support, and mentor site management staff, driving accountability and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on mid-to-large scale multi level projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor multidisciplinary site teams.
  • Strong background in construction methodologies, contract management, and risk mitigation.
  • Proficient with project management systems (e.g., MS Project, Procore or similar).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications—Construction Management, Engineering, or related.
  • Minimum 10+ years in construction, including 5+ years in senior project leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
