Our client is a leading construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments. With an exciting new project on the Gold Coast, they are seeking an experienced Design Manager / Sn DM to lead the design process and ensure project excellence from concept to completion. You will oversee all design aspects of the residential development, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design process for large-scale residential projects $300m +
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and internal teams to deliver efficient and high-quality designs
• Ensure compliance with planning regulations, building codes, and project specifications
• Identify design risks and implement solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets
• Lead value engineering efforts to optimise cost, quality, and functionality
• Provide design input throughout project development, from concept to construction

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Design Manager in large-scale residential developments
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and approval processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to drive design success
