We are seeking a dynamic Structures Foreman to lead and manage all facets of structural construction projects for our client’s team on the Gold Coast. In this role, you will oversee a team of construction experts, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the construction team on-site to ensure all structural work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and deadlines.
- Coordinate daily operations, including scheduling tasks, managing subcontractors, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations and practices.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure that all work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, providing solutions to maintain project progress and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Trade qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of construction trades (structure, facade)
- Ability to solve problems whilst maintaining subcontractor relationships and program.
